This is a project I was sent out to do today which was to photograph two block of Raleigh, North Carolina and tell a story.  I am not sure which one I like more at this moment so please let me know what you think.

Still Working Hard

This was an assignment that my intern gave me.  I wanted to shoot something at ment a lot to me and my grandparents came to my mind.  My grandfather has been working at for a very log time.  He has been make patches for tire and many other things for over 50 years.

Brother and Axe

This is my brother trying to chop a tree down so we can use it for part of our barn, that my dad and brother and I are building.

Bottle Caps

This is an idea I had to take bottle caps and have them over flow the top. But I decided to have them come out as if it had fallen over. I got the caps from a restaurant in Reeds, NC.

Placid

This is Paige Morris I had her help me with my final project. In this image I had to capture a virtuoso person, a boa, a tree, and it had to be set in a placid area.

This is a self promo I did the other night with my dad. I don't think he was to happy about me putting gas on the cards and lighting them on fire. But it turned out well.

This is Courthouse falls in the mountains of North Carolina. This was taken last October on a trip that a few of my classmate and I went on.

Us and Them

This is a project for my second client assignment that was supposed to be a book cover, and the book title was called Us and Them. My cousins and a friend from high school helped me with this image.

Self promo

This is my first promo that I have to turn in for Chuck commercial class. i shot this with a medium format digital leaf back camera.

Image Demolition

We had Dan Routh come and teach our class Monday and he showed us many things in photoshop that we could do to our images. On this image i put a blur on it and the Dan told me to add some grain on it also, I also added a texture layer but i really didn't like it so I took it off.

In this image is Becca Helms and Paige Morris, I took this image in an old farm house on my grandfathers farm.

This is a tree at a look out point in Bryce Canyon at sunset.

While I was shooting my assignment for Chuck I went ahead and shot some self promos with the chocolate and strawberries.

I did a photo shoot this past weekend with one of my cousin's friend, her name is Kelcie. We shot pictures for about 2 hours and this I think was one of the better ones.

This was for my client assignment for Chuck. I used the medium format with the digital leaf back. I put sugar on the strawberry so that the strawberries would show up more.

Grandfather Hands

Today I went to my grandparents to shoot a few picture of them, we started to talk about how long they been married.  They have been together for over 65 years and they love each other so much.  I was taking some pictures of their rings on my grandmother's piano when I decided to put the rings in my grandfather's hand.  After that I wanted everything to be black and white but I really love the gold in the wedding bans.
